4 Hickory smoked maple and spice beef jerky

The flavor is perfect. The subtleness of the spice is complimented by the lite maple and smoke enhancement. The jerky size is also great for snacking versus big pieces that are a mouthful. Its not easy to find the right balance between tough and too soft in a jerky and this was close. While I love a chewy jerky the meat was a little too tough and dry which prevented a five star rating.
